The last couple of days have been fantastic. We have a hint of an early fall in the air and the weather is cool and calm. Just great for early morning running. Yesterday Aubrey and I ran a nice, round 12 miles. And then today we recovered with 5 miles at a little bit brisker pace. We have the inaugaral Crossroads Marathon in Odessa, Tx coming up on the 4th of October. We obviously don't know what to expect but we do know that it's put on by the Crossroads Fellowship Church there in Odessa so they should have lots of good volunteers. haha It's a Boston qualifier which is pretty impressive for a first time marathon. Again, we are just going to use it as a training run so no pressure to do well, just to finish and feel good.
